Training

My "A" goal race for this fall is the LOCO Marathon in Newmarket, NH on Sunday, October 29th, where I will be aiming for a 4:15 finish, beating my last marathon PR of 4:26. I will be training for it using the following plan that I created, largely based on the Hansons Marathon Method training program.


My "B" race will be the Smuttynose Rockfest Half Marathon on Sunday, October 1st, where I hope to beat my half marathon PR of 2:02:20, and hopefully, run under 2 hours as well. My other summer and fall races include the Midnight Owl 15K on Saturday, August 5th; the St Charles Children's Home 5K on Labor Day; the Ghost Train 15 Miler on Sunday, October 22nd; and the Hamster Wheel 12 Hour Ultramarathon on Sunday, November 5th. I am also registered for the Millinocket Marathon on December 9th.
